And our capabilities do not stop at the supply of components produced on one of our Coil Fed Press Lines, or on one of the presses in our Second Operation Press Shop. We have facilities to undertake a wide range of assembly work and have plant and equipment capable of carrying out Projection Welding, Spot Welding, Riveting and Crimping operations on pressings manufactured on site and the ability to create assemblies utilising bought in parts and components sourced from Quality Assured sub-contractors.
Having a well-equipped Toolroom, staffed by skilled toolmakers gives, not only full backup to the Press Shop, but enables us to provide a cost effective service in the design, manufacture and maintenance of our customer's tooling requirements. We can also specify and project manage the sourcing of tooling from subcontract Toolmakers.
A further enhancement of our competitive edge and something that reduce lead times, is our In-House Electroplating Department. This facility has two Automatic Barrel Zinc Plating lines and a manual Vat Plating Station. In addition to plating components produced in our Press Shop, we also offer a Subcontract Plating Service ranging from One Off’s through to Small Batch work, up to large Repeat Volumes.
